What does it mean to be a member of Müzewest Concerts Society?
You are a member if:

You’re over 16 and purchased a ticket to a Müzewest Concerts’ recital in the last twelve months

You are over 16 and have received a free ticket to a Müzewest Concerts’ recital in the last twelve months
-
You’re over 16 and have volunteered at a Müzewest Concerts’ event in the last twelve months
-
You’re a member of our board of directors
As a member of our society you can:
-
Vote at our AGM
-
Be an ambassador for our organization
-
Indicate interest to be on our board of directors
-
Attend our AGM and have your voice heard

2. Membership
2.1) Any person, age 16 or over, who has purchased a ticket to attend a Society-organized
concert in the preceding twelve (12) months is a Member of the Society. Any person, age 16 or
over, who has received a ticket to attend a Society-organized concert in the preceding twelve
(12) months is a Member of the Society.
2.2) A ticket stub from a Society-organized concert held in the preceding 12 months, or any other
evidence of purchase of a concert ticket satisfactory to the President, shall be deemed evidence
of membership in the Society by its holder.
2.3) Any person, age 16 or over, who has volunteered at a Society-organized event in the
preceding twelve (12) months is a Member of the Society.
2.4) Persons elected to the Board of Directors of the Society are automatically granted
membership in the Society for the duration of their term as a Director of the Society.
2.5) Any Member wishing to withdraw from membership may do so upon notice in writing to the
President of the Society.
3. Members of the Society have the right to:
(a) Attend any General Meeting of the Society;
(b) Propose motions, second motions, debate motions, and vote on motions at any General Meeting of the Society;
(c) Stand for election to the Board of Directors of the Society; and
(d) Attend Meetings of the Board of Directors as an observer.
